I was strolling around the streets of Bologna, one of the most historic and beautiful towns of Italy, with my partner in crime / travel buddy / soulmate aka my husband… and I made one of the most exciting discoveries: Italian grain free pasta that only consists of ONE ingredient!
The first time I saw shirataki noodles I was in Antibes, in the South of France, where I ran into them in my favorite organic supermarket called Naturalia (check out this chain if you are ever in France!).
How do you love these photos? Personally, these are some of my favorites… these little, crunchy pastries are just too cute!
Not only do they make for the perfect healthy gluten free recipe, they are also grain free and dairy free as well and therefore are the perfect paleo dessert!!
It’s that time of the year again! Valentine’s Day is here and we all want to surprise our loved ones with some beautiful, lovely treats.
But right because we love them, we don’t want to feed our partners with unhealthy, sugary treats….
Foodwise Tuscany is one of the best regions in Italy. From amazing “Schiacciata” (a flatbread drizzled with olive oil and sea salt crystals) to “Caciucco” (tomato & fish soup); from “Cantucci” (which I remade gluten free for you) and “Brigidini” (anise flavored sweet chips) to their delicious stews and infamous the “Pici” (thick, homemade spaghetti).
Thai food is one of my favorites. The way they match all those amazing spices and flavors creates true masterpieces in the kitchen. Tom Kah Gai Soup, Papaya Salad, Pineapple Fried Rice..
If you have been following me on Instagram or Facebook for a while, you know that Mango Sticky Rice is one of my favorite sweets ever. And this is especially true when you can turn this naturally gluten free dessert in a healthy gluten free recipe!!
Has anybody heard about Farinata or Socca? These 2 words (one in Italian and the other in French) are two different ways to call a kind of healthy fast food that’s very popular in the north-west coast of Italy and in the French Riviera.
