Foodwise Tuscany is one of the best regions in Italy. From amazing “Schiacciata” (a flatbread drizzled with olive oil and sea salt crystals) to “Caciucco” (tomato & fish soup); from “Cantucci” (which I remade gluten free for you) and “Brigidini” (anise flavored sweet chips) to their delicious stews and infamous the “Pici” (thick, homemade spaghetti).
Thai food is one of my favorites. The way they match all those amazing spices and flavors creates true masterpieces in the kitchen. Tom Kah Gai Soup, Papaya Salad, Pineapple Fried Rice..
As sad as it sounds, I have never had a scone as a child. Not even as an adolescent. And not because my parents were depriving me from enjoying my treats… Simply because scones don’t exist in Italy!
